Youtube app is downloaded but no icon

I only noticed this as my iBooks app kept crashing and the Facebook icon turned white and wouldn't open, I took the advice online to uninstall and reinstall them how ever an I one doesn't appear and there is no way to use these apps.

Apps were downloading fine from the App Store at Christmas. Other apps already install will run fine, however I have tried to download more apps but the icon won't show and I can't open them.
