Starship troopers audiobook free download

It is a lot more like 'Enders Game' than the film version of 'Starship Troopers'. I enjoyed the philosophical meanderings about duty, citizenship and such, even though I did not agree to many of them like corporal punishment etc.

Since I like military fiction and sci-fi, I was fascinated by the training routine and officer school tests described. What made me sad was the almost 'klingon-like' acceptance of death in battle. And even though some philosophical discussion are still current, it is important to keep in mind that it is decade old sci-fi and can seem a bit 'dated' to the younger generation. Absolutely highly recommend listening to this book.

This book was a lot more preachy and boring than I remember it to be.
